Hungarian Sweet is bold red in color and is sweeter than most other varieties, although it still provides smoky flavor. Registering at 400 SHU (Scoville Heat Units), the Hungarian is not quite the barn burner.

Spanish Sweet, or pimentón, is sweeter than even the Hungarian varieties, sometimes owing its distinctive flavor to being dried via the smoke of oak timber. Registering at 500 SHU (Scoville Heat Units), the Spanish is quite mild.
